Mini For Sale
This film was based on a true story as reported in a Sunday paper. It begins with the female gang member reading the paper and finding an advert for a private sale of a Mini, she calls the number on the ad and arranges to visit to see the car.
The two women get chatting and the seller tells the gang member that she is selling the car because her husband has died and she can't drive. The buyer suggests a test dirve and the two women drive off together. As they leave a red cortina draws up at the house, the women are away for some time and on their return the seller finds her house has been ransacked. This has been the whole purpose of the interest in the Mini, it is just a con trick.
The film ends with the arrival of the police.
